About "ReStoring the Foundations" Ministries

The Four Sources of Our Problems

Rarely can we point to a single cause for problems in our lives. They are usually complicated and can involve many people and events which impact us on a regular basis. Compound these events over a life-time and it is no wonder that we are often at a loss to discern the root causes of such pressing issues. These many facets continually interact to make us who we are.

This is true for the four sources of our problems and their negative effects on our lives. The four sources are: Generational Sins and Curses, Ungodly Beliefs, Life’s hurts, and Demonic Oppression. These sources are integrally intertwined.  There is a fundamental interrelatedness between each one and the other three sources. In order to bring lasting healing and freedom, all four sources must receive ministry in the same general time frame, with the RTF minister understanding how each source relates to the others.

Before we tackle the four sources and the problems that manifest in our lives, let’s breathe in four truths about God’s character and His design. Understanding these truths and how they address the four sources will help us to move closer to the goal of becoming more and more like Jesus and living a life filled with joy and peace regardless of our circumstances.

About Ron & Jill

Our passion has always been to create a safe place where healing is a normal part of one’s experience with Jesus. Our strong family values were forged early in our marriage after coming out of orphan lifestyles, and we continue to find our value in our loving and healing Heavenly Father.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, we’ve been married 30 years, raised four children and now enjoy nurturing our grandchildren. Recognizing that only God and the healing He brings can create successful lives and families, we’ve sought to teach our children to live for Christ in a troubled world – which has also seasoned us for ministry!

We are SO excited to have Marcel leading worship at this event!  He is the lead singer of a Juno Nominated and GMA winning band called "Sky Terminal", which has created an amazing platform to share the love of Jesus with multi-generations across Canada in a practical and fun way. Marcel and his wife, Ruth, want to see a generation of young adults who boldly live for Jesus in the calling He has for them and are excited to see what God is doing in Toronto, and across Canada where they pastor a church campus of Catch the Fire Central.

Breaking Free Women's Conference - Saturday, OCTOBER 29, 2016

For our conference this year, our theme is "breaking free" from bondages that we may or may not even be aware of in our lives by surrendering to Jesus Christ.  We will define what true salvation is, who our real enemy is, and how we have power over him.  Women will learn how repentance and forgiveness are true keys to freedom.  We will also help women of all ages understand the key areas of bondage that exist within us, the steps to inner healing, and what it truly means to be "free in Christ"!

Conference held at:  Hi-Way church, 50 Anne St. N. (just north of Dunlop St), Barrie.

our Speakers

Christy Johnson is an award-winning Christian writer and an international speaker from Oklahoma.  She is our morning keynote speaker and the author of Love Junkies and 7 Steps for Breaking the Toxic Relationship Cycle.  As a soul-health advocate, her mission is to help women identify roots of bitterness, maintain joy in the midst of adversity and develop drama-free habits that help to improve relationships.

Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson is the co-host for a national TV show, The 700 Club Canada, and she is our afternoon keynote speaker for this eventLaura-Lynn is also the author of Relentless Redemption. Her story will inspire women to realize that, no matter how tragic their journeys have been, God can take their adversities and give them beauty for ashes, encouraging them to believe that God still has a BIG plan for their lives.

Susan Rashotte is one of the Regional Directors for the Bethel Sozo ministry in Canada.  She has witnessed the powerful impact of this ministry, and teaches people how to walk in freedom and grow in their spiritual maturity.  She travels around the Country equipping believers to become authentic spiritual leaders that are changing our churches across the nation.

God's Not Dead - A Night of Testimonies - October 1, 2015

This was a "sold out" event where true miracle stories of God’s goodness and grace were shared.  This night of testimonies was based on a book written by Doris Schuster.  Her book, God's Not Dead!  True Miracle Stories of God's Goodness and Grace", is a collection of 36 local miracle stories, written or told by “ordinary” people who have experienced “extraordinary” things!   Each of them is recorded, with integrity and from the heart, to encourage others to believe in, and to trust the God who made these miracles possible.   Included are stories of life change, transformation, provision, protection, forgiveness and supernatural healing.

In Mark 9:23, Jesus says, “All things are possible for one who believes.”

Thanks to our gold sponsors for this event...

Theme:  How do you fit in God’s BIG Plan?  Get Inspired to Find your Divine Destiny.

Jesus died for us, so that we could live for Him.  If we believe and live for Him, we will have eternal life.  But what does it mean to live for Jesus?

God gives us all a calling, a divine destiny.  Our purpose in life is to find out what that is, and to live it.  But first of all, what is God’s BIG Plan?  What is He trying to accomplish, then what is He trying to accomplish through us?

The Unite, Ignite & Take Flight Conference is a gathering of women in the Simcoe area to network and get encouraged through the Speakers, Music and Testimonies, and to get inspired to find their divine destiny.
